University of Northampton

Overview

  • Formed in 1999 by the amalgamation of several training colleges and gained full university status as the University of Northampton in 2005.
  • London is about an hour and a half away from Northampton by train.
  • One of the youngest universities in the UK but already leading the way in adding value to society, which they call social impact. UON have won multiple awards for their work in this area, among others, but what matters the most to UON is ensuring that their students and graduates can make their mark on the world too.
  • Built a whole new University campus from the ground up that is designed to reflect the way that you learn rather than the way you are expected to learn. Waterside Campus opened in September 2018.
